Privacy Policy

Poshara ("we", "our", or "the extension") is a Chrome browser extension that helps Poshmark sellers share closet listings (and, in Poshara Pro, perform additional optional actions). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information Poshara accesses, how it is used, and what we do not do with it.

User Control

Poshara only performs actions after you explicitly start them in the extension popup and confirm the run. You can stop any running task at any time using the Stop button. Optional scheduled closet sharing (Pro only) runs only if you turn it on yourself.

What Poshara Accesses

Poshara operates entirely within your browser. It accesses the Poshmark pages you are viewing in order to share listings from your closet (and, in Pro, to perform the optional follow and page-sharing actions you start). It does not read your private messages, payment information, or account credentials.

What We Store

Poshara uses Chrome's local storage (chrome.storage.local) to save your preferences — such as your chosen domain (.ca or .com) and consent settings — so you don't have to re-enter them each time. This data is stored locally on your device only. It is never transmitted to Poshara's servers or any third party.

What We Do Not Collect

Poshara does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data. We do not have access to your Poshmark password, payment details, order history, or messages. We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party data services of any kind.

Network Requests

Poshara does not make any network requests to external servers. All actions are performed directly within your browser on the Poshmark website. The extension does not send data anywhere outside of your local Chrome environment.

Permissions

Permissions depend on which build you use:

Poshara (free / Chrome Web Store) uses activeTab — to work with the current Poshmark page after you confirm — and storage — to save settings locally on your device.

Poshara Pro additionally uses tabs — for optional page navigation features you start — and alarms — for optional scheduled closet sharing that you enable yourself.

These permissions are used solely to provide the extension's features. No data collected via these permissions is ever shared externally.

Third-Party Services

Poshara interacts only with Poshmark (poshmark.ca and poshmark.com) on your behalf, as directed by your actions within the extension. Poshara is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Poshmark.

Children's Privacy

Poshara is intended for use by adults. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
